Description:
Production Supervisor, Wafer Fab, Shift Supervisor, off-shifts, SPC, WIP, preventive maintenance. This position is located in the Kansas City area, where entertainment and attractions abound in every direction! The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing employees for the assigned shift in the production of high quality wafers. Duties include:
• Ensuring that shop instructions, preventive maintenance, WIP tracking, SPC and calibration procedures are followed accurately;
• Ensuring all training, re-training, cross-training and new job assignments match the needs of the business;
• Providing management with staffing needs or personnel movement;
• Documenting employee performance;
• Verifying pay card accuracy on a weekly basis;
• Scheduling vacation, holidays, sick time and overtime;
• Helping to ensure security, cleanliness and safety in the work place;
• Ensuring employee compliance with all safety and clean room procedures.

Qualifications:
Education: 4-year degree required.
Required skills:
• 5+ years experience as a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, or similar in a Wafer Fab manufacturing operation;
• Must be willing to work off-shift;
• Good leadership skills with attention to detail;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Familiar with SPC, WIP, preventive maintenance, etc.
